At Sainsbury & Sons, we're all about making things easy for you. That's why we offer FREE Direct Home Delivery (DHD) on most online orders over £50.00 within mainland UK.

Here’s how it works! 

Delivery times can vary depending on whether the item is already in stock or needs to be made especially for you. We'll let you know the estimated timeframe when you place your order.

Most in-stock items arrive within 14-21 days, though sometimes it can even be quicker! We'll keep you updated throughout the process.

For those larger pieces of furniture, we'll send a friendly two-person delivery team to help you get it settled in.

The day before delivery, you'll receive a text message to your phone with a confirmed delivery date and, whenever possible, a two-hour window. Just keep in mind that morning deliveries can start as early as 6:00 AM.

WHITE GLOVE

On selected items you might notice we offer a white glove delivery service. This bespoke service ensures complete assurance of the integrity of your goods, right up to installation and handover. Our white glove services for local Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire postcodes are priced at £35 whereas other products that can be shipped UK wide will have white glove delivery baked into the product price and will not be charged at the checkout stage. 

 

RETURNS POLICY

Most new, unopened items can be returned within 14 days of delivery for a full refund, however, the cost of returning any items is the responsibility of the customer.

Items must be returned in their original packaging and a refund will only take place after the goods have been returned, inspected by our returns department and deemed to be in a suitable condition.

Please note that with the exception of a faulty item, for hygiene and safety reasons we cannot accept the return of mattresses and pillows.

We will however pay the relevant return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error ie. You received an incorrect item or the item is damaged. 

Damaged items

Where this occurs, please email within 24 hours of delivery a photo of the damage(s) to sales@sainsburyandsons.co.uk as well as relevant order details and we will get back to you within 48 hours, however, this can be longer if over a weekend or falling over a holiday weekend.

Once the manufacturer has agreed to its return or an exchange, we will then email you over the relevant uplift label to attach to the box, however, please note that the uplift time of any damaged item can take anywhere between 7 and 28 days.

You should then expect to receive your refund within 48 hours of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. No refund will be issued until notification has been received that the item has been uplifted.
